Roadways in Unnao
Unnao has good roadways system which internally connects all its areas and localities and externally connects its neighboring town and cities. The major roadways in the city are the National highway NH 25 and the state highways UP SH 38 and UP SH 58. The NH 25 runs through the city forming a bypass in Unnao. The NH 25 enters the city through the Deeh locality of Unnao and in the same locality it meets the UP SH 38. And then the NH 25 runs though the Nirala Nagar, AB Nagar, Hussain Nagar, Lake Town, Shiv nagar, Avas vikas colony, Eastern Unnao Ganjauli industrial city and Turkmannagar localities in Unnao. The NH 25 connects Unnao with its neighboring localities like Sonik, Sarai Katiyan, Baruwa, Ajgain, Amretha, Kotra, Banthar, Sathara, Salman Plains, Jaimau sub metro city and many other localities in Unnao district.The UP SH 58 enters Unnao through the Haibatpur locality and it passes through the Maswasi, Magarwara, Shakpur and it meets the UP SH 38 in the Sharda Nahar locality in Unnao. The UP SH 58 links Unnao with its neighboring localities like Gopinathpuram, Netuwa, ShuklaGanj, General Ganj and Cooperganj. The UP SH 38 runs in two directions in Unnao and connects with NH 25. In Hiran nagar and Nirala nagar localities the UP SH 38 runs and gets connected with NH 25 at both the ends. On the other side, the UP SH 38 runs through Lok nagar, Campbell lines and civil lines localities and finally gets connected with NH 25 on Station lines locality of Unnao city. The UP SH 38 connects Unnao city with its neighboring localities of Dostinagar, Akbarpur Dabauli, Puranisf Pansarai, Raukama, Makhi, Chakal Wanshi, Jamaluddeen pur, Atwa, Safipur and many other localities in the district.
